Spend a day looking at and discussing several investment properties. We'll be joined by experienced real estate investors to lead the property evaluations, as well as a real estate agent and a lender to assist those who find something they would like to buy.

Most any REIA member who has been on a bus tour will tell you that this is the best way to learn how to evaluate potential deals, what to look for, and what to avoid. We'll have 3-5 properties scheduled so you'll get plenty of practice looking for needed repairs, estimating repair costs, and calculating MAO (maximum allowable offer). 

You'll also earn 4 hours of OPHP credit: 2 hours Appraisal, and 2 hours Inspection.

Flashlight
Pen
Clipboard (something to write on- Inspection sheets and property info will be provided)
Calculator
Hat (keeps cob webs out of your hair!)
Long pants
Closed toe, sturdy shoes (no open toe shoes, sandals, or flip-flops please)
Rain gear if necessary
